Before removing Georgia from the title so that this platform is available for all prisoners, I created Invitation to Georgia Prisoners Who Want to Be Heard because of the inhumane treatment of prisoners held captive inside the system, often without the necessities deemed necessary by the governing authorities. The provisions of which have been upheld by the United States Supreme Court to prevent a violation of the Eighth Amendment to the United States Constitution that prohibits cruel and unusual punishment. The Georgia Department of Correction ignores what the law dictates, unless drastic action gets taken against prison officials, as happened in the 80’s at the Georgia State Prison in Reidsville, Georgia, where the Feds took over operations.
